The hosts of the popular legal podcast “Reboot Your Law Practice” are redefining the concept of legal networking!
Every single lawyer will tell you that they should be networking more. For many lawyers, it’s their main and most effective form of marketing.
But, your time is precious and for some, networking events in the past haven’t been overly beneficial. Lawyers that network often never meet anyone new and always wind up talking to the same people.
We know networking events are time-consuming, so we wanted to share some info about an event that’s actually worth going to.
Master your law practice
Attorneys Scott Limmer and Oscar Michelen, who host the popular legal podcast, Reboot Your Law Practice, have started their own successful networking group for Long Island based lawyers. The group helps these attorneys to grow their practices, to build real relationships with other legal professionals and to learn from other attorneys who are in the same boat as them.
The event is 60-75 minutes long and involves various different opportunities for lawyers to not just network, but also get tips on how to give value, build relationships and discuss how to network if you don’t like networking in the first place.
The event cost is $35, to cover the cost of lunch, and will be held on Thursday, June 29th, at 12:30 p.m at Seasons 52 at the Roosevelt Field Mall. If you are interested, please RSVP by emailing Scott Limmer at [email protected].
Why go join this networking group?
Both Scott and Oscar have built successful practices, and during that time, they have watched them lose direction too.
When times were slow, instead of sitting around waiting for the phone to ring they decided to be proactive and find a solution.
This resulted in them treating their firms more like a business than a law practice. Meaning they learned and applied different business methods and ideas, such as giving value, being authentic and building relationships. And it was through this process that they started their “Reboot Your Law Practice” podcast.
Now they want to give attorneys not only the opportunity to learn from their specific experiences but to also meet, build relationships with and learn from each other.
AND TO BE PERFECTLY CLEAR… you’re not going to be sold anything at this event. Simply, two practicing attorneys are interested in passing on what we have learned to others and hoping to build relationships themselves.
The group is open to all attorneys and will not be limited by practice area. If you are interested then don’t wait to sign up, space will be limited so please respond to [email protected] to reserve your spot.
