Law Firm Suites, NYC’s leading provider of shared office space for solo attorneys and small law firms, opens new Midtown Manhattan executive suite for law firms.
New York, NY – May 3, 2014. This week Law Firm Suites announced the opening of a new Midtown Manhattan executive suite for law firms at 830 Third Avenue (at 50th street) in Midtown Manhattan.
The 12,333 square-foot law office suite is the former NYC headquarters of an AMLAW100 firm and features fine finishes, generously sized offices and an open feel not found in your typical executive suite.
An Executive Suite that Feels Like a Law Firm
“The comment we hear most frequently is that the space feels like a law firm,” says Law Firm Suites’ founder, Stephen Furnari. “We looked at many spaces before choosing this one, which we felt best meets the unique needs of attorneys in Midtown.”
Law Firm Suites was founded by Furnari to solve some of the unique challenges of running a small law practice. Furnari, who is a corporate attorney, needed access to other practice disciplines to service his clients, but didn’t necessarily want to join a partnership.
“Sharing space with other small firm attorneys provided me the resources I needed to practice law at a high level, plus a steady stream of referrals from suitemates dramatically reduced overhead,” says Furnari. Furnari started Law Firm Suites in 2006 to help other self-employed, small firm attorneys do the same thing.
This is Law Firm Suites’ Second NYC Executive Suite
This is Law Firm Suites’ second location in Manhattan. Its 16,000 square-foot Downtown NYC shared office space operates at full occupancy.
“Law Firm Suites’ clients stay on average of five years or more,” says Furnari. “And when they do leave it’s usually because the attorney is making a material career change, like going in house or joining a partnership.”
For a small firm, moving a law office is challenging and most attorneys prefer not to do it often.
Why Law Firm Suites is Different
Says Furnari, “compared to the Wild West of the NYC sublet office space market, where you are at the mercy of some other firm’s policies, or the culture-clash that you tend to find in multi-professional executive suites, we offer a professionally managed office option that is custom tailored to the way self-employed, small firm attorneys work. At Law Firm Suites, lawyers will find an office environment that feels like a working law office, and that has the flexibility and stability to stay put for a long time.”
Law Firm Suites’ new Midtown Manhattan executive suite for law firms opened on May 1, 2014.
